Update: Tried it again recently. The disappearing select and cut/copy/paste pop-up is really annoying. Submitted a support ticket…they said, sorry heres 20 credits towards a premium account. Pathetic. Has become way too complicated and cumbersome to use. Adding an Evernote "store" (Market) into the app was the last straw. Remember when Evernote allowed you to easily create and find your notes? I will be canceling my premium service.

The good: clippings and notes and voice easily recorded and saved, synced across platforms The bad: * the limit on the number of notebooks one may have is restrictive. I have to set up two different accounts to work around this (yes, paying twice). I mean, any given complex project - say a home renovation or major research project - can easily consume most or all the permitted number of notebooks (250), leaving none for ones investments and ideas, business endeavors, recipes, interests ... To me - along with inability to create nested notebooks and hierarchy - this is the most critical flaw. * all its features are available only on web version, not on iPad or BB versions, which are essentially read only * inability to create a series of sub notebooks - meaning drilling down in subject matters requires creating another peer-level notebook - is a major drawback. Notebook hierarchy is a critical missing piece keeping Evernote from surpassing OneNote

Evernote has totally changed my life. Its my brain repository. I put everything in here -- notes, business cards, PDFs, recordings. Everything is super easy to find. Use across all my devices. Couldnt and wouldnt live without it!

Evernote used to be the go-to note keeping app. Now it’s a slow piece of software with dozens of features I will never use, a continuously shifting user interface that makes me hunt for controls, and pointless pestering to “confirm my email”, which serves NO PURPOSE whatsoever (I’ve failed to confirm my email for two years without a change in service). It’s sad to see great software lose track of it’s core competencies.

Pretty much every idea I have is on my Evernote. At this point its pretty vital to my daily life. I would give it 5 stars if only the layout wasnt so clunky.

Evernote is a very versatile tool. I have tried a variety of similar apps, but none has been as useful as Evernote. I would highly recommend this app for any one.

Evernote has really fallen behind. Its price is far too high for unexciting features. Been a paid user for many years. Keep your eyes open for alternatives.

Have not tapped the full potential. What I use I like.

It makes me feel safe and warm inside. It also does a good job syncing cross device.

I use Evernote for university, but it has some serious drawbacks: Making notes with Apple Pencil is cumbersome and needs to mature. Interleaving text and drawings is difficult. When you want to add text between two drawings, its difficult to select the top drawing and go into typewriter mode. It would be good to have other eraser types. Right now, you cant erase down to the pixel, which is important for making corrections. It would be nice to nice some other pen types. Evernotes PDF annotations dont use the Pencil. This is a real drag as many of my notes come from PDFs that I like to markup. Evernote has PDF annotations, but they are silly and too bold. I want to annotate the same way I can in Acrobat.

I am a Premium user. Evernote is my go to app for notes, to do lists, and planning - Great app! Suggestions to make Evernote better: 1. Copy Note Link | add the ability on the iPad and iPhone versions to be able to Copy Note Link and be able to add a hyperlink in a note like in Evernote for Windows app on my PC. That would be a huge help with organization giving quick access to important items. 2. Reminders | add the ability to set multiple reminders inside a note. For example, my To Do list has multiple items the come due at different times - I dont want to have to have a separate note for each item in order to set a reminder. Thanks for the latest improvements!

Great software. It would be even better if it was easier to get support

Ive been a user since 2011, but never realized the FULL POWER of this app. I use it to run two small businesses, seamlessly communicate with my staff, draw sketches, take handwritten notes (definitely get a 53 Paper pencil or an Apple Pencil), and to basically keep track of everything. Deserves 5 stars all the way around.

... I always have a copy of everything I may possibly need with me on my pocket in the form of an app. • Please make the Apple Watch app a little more useful. Even without that upgrade though, still a give star app.

It continuously either loses a good 30 minutes of data when switching from iPad to desktop or when using my PC at work, it will make a duplicate automatically about every 2 or 3 minutes. Not the solution I was hoping it would be

If there was a single piece of software I relied on the most, its Evernote on both iOS and Mac. I use it for keeping track of everything. I scan all of my handwritten notes - the OCR is mind blowing - Evernote can read my handwriting even when I can, and now years of handwritten notes are searchable. Every receipt and every record - keeping paper around anymore is not needed. Even entire magazine collections - no more dead weight or clutter. Keeping everything in life organized is easy with Evernote.

I use this app in college and it has helped me so much at making sure my notes are organized and easy to read. I would highly recommend this app.
