Evernote - Notes Organizer App Reviews

This is how you reward loyal users?

I have been using Evernote for years. I loved the fact that is worked well in my Apple ecosystem (Mac, iPad, iPhone). I have convinced every one I know to use your app on their phones, and it has evolved well. However, with your new policy, I am forced to look at alternatives. I need 3 devices, but your $68 plan is too expensive for what it offers. Even apple is not as greedy.... I will probably go back to OneNote; your actuaries probably told you that this is what would happen... But you do not seem to mind... Sad. This is not how you reward loyal customers.

Brutal new business model

I would rather switch to using notepad or just writing out my notes before I pay a monthly fee to have this app on more than two devices. I was just fully converted to Evernote and was considering premium for the real features until you did this. Congrats on losing your customer base.

Goodbye

Used to be a decent app but they just keep chipping away at what you can do with it. Im going to give it up now. Too bad.

Enough

Evernote used to be great. Not any more...bye.

2 device limit on free version

Sorry Evernote, you have lost another user with this money grab.

Changed free account

Evernote changed their free account to only sync with 2 devices. Rule of thumb: dont take away functionality from your clients or at least grandfather in your older account holders. Bad move. Deleted.

Goodbye Evernote

You are pricing yourself out of existence. I have just migrated to Apple Note which may not be fancy but simple to use. It serves my needs and it is free.

Love it...worth the fee.

I cant quite understand why people expect to get all this had to offer, for free. Amazing app - I have EVERYTHING in it, and it is at my fingertips wherever I go. I use it at least 10 times/day - at work, while shopping, at their gym, cooking....so many potential applications for Evernote. My favourite features are pdf text recognition/ searchability, ability as a premium user to share notes with others, and of course the scanning capabilities. Maybe Evernote should consider a free ad-supported version - but then people would probably whine about that too. Well worth the $70/year for my premium account.

Really 2 devices!?!

Are you intentionally trying to run yourselves out of business??? Looking for alternative, its not worth $89 a year even with all the other stuff youve been trying to get us to pay for.The other stuffs not worth paying for or wed pay. This will just alienate people.

Almost one of my favourites.

It was perfect - as a user without a data plan ( can you believe it!?) Everything I needed was in one place after I put it in Evernote. Until..... there was an update. Now my notes from the Internet dont appear unless Im connected. I used to look up my recipe ingredients while grocery shopping but not any more. Sad...

Lame

Should be a free app

Great app and very reliable

Ive used it everyday for two years and it saved me so much time on my research.

Pretty awesome overall

Excellent productivity app. A bit frustrating about only being able to sync across two devices unless upgrading but the app is worth it to me. Plus they provide excellent customer service

Outrageously Greedy - now a useless App

Im stunned at Evernotes sheer lack of understanding of the basics of business. Youve tried to force us to subscribe to your service by limiting the number of devices in the Basic plan to two - knowing full well it renders the App essentially useless. So you think we have no choice? Did you think holding our data ransom would force us to pay? Massive mistake - Ive now permanently switched to OneNote. Goodbye forever, Evernote.

My app

My app wouldnt update

Used to be great

Was an essential app for me. Recent versions crash whenever I try to edit text. Very frustrating. Searching for replacement now

The best App

I simply cannot function to the same level of efficiency and effectiveness without this brilliant application. So many great features.

Very high tech

Love this app. Has many features and they work smoothly.

Good but not great

Has everything a good note taking app needs, but the ui is busy and fragmented. Completed tasks and reminders need swipe features to mark as done/reschedule. Everything is super tiny and takes too many taps. Ppl only use this because it was among the fist note apps and theyre too lazy to try something else. Thats why this app gets updated at a glacial pace. Bad

Bad Move

Doesnt care about customers but only money by implementing 2-device limitation and boosting plan-pricing. Well, I have found a new love of my note-taking life. Exports all done! Time to delete Evernote account! Now bye-bye
