Evernote - Notes Organizer App Reviews

After several updates and still no fix. I have given up on Evernote. This is the issue: When you hold down to highlight a word, and tap "Select" when the keyboard is up. The box to cut, copy, paste, etc... disappears. This bug has been in Evernote for the iPad for ages, and still no fix. Please Evernote team fix this BUG.

This is by far the best note taking software ever! It consolidates everything seamlessly and they keep adding new stuff. Keep it up Evernote!

Wonderful app thats perfect for taking notes, studying, lists, pretty much anything. I love it and recommend it to anyone I know whos looking for a good note taking app. Im always looking forward to what Evernote does next.

I love the idea that I can share information, business cards, ideas, work flow, etc., in this app and have it available on my phone, iPad and desktops in two different cities. Recommended by a colleague who told me it saved his life. Good for on the go, keeping tabs on important stuff.

I’ve had this app for years. It works great and the few times I’ve had an issue to work out the support team has been right on it. Great work, Evernote team!

Tried all the note taking apps (OneNote, Notability, etc) and I always come back to this. Beautiful design and the web client is convenient.

Update 3: They had a great iPad Pro version and they ruined it. One can no longer take notes without the zoom gesture being triggered. Ive stopped using the app for now as a handwriting place. Update 2: Evernote keeps making great improvements to the sketching module. I hope they keep this up as its great. The new Apple notes does a lot of what Evernote does, but Evernote does it better and is more full featured. (search handwritten text being a big one) Also, Ive grown weary of trusting apple. They like to drop nice apps for no reason. Update: iPad pro pencil support with drawing is really well implemented. Ive stopped using hand note taking apps and now everything can live in Evernote. Original review: There are many solutions out there to collect information and keep it in sync between devices, but at the end of the day, I think Evernote is it. They cover all the platforms I like with native apps and that makes all the difference. The iPad app is still a bit clunky when it comes to formatting your notes, but its not that bad. I usually spend some time beautifying things on the computer, when I get the time, to make up for that. I do wish they made a bit more effort in designing the iPad versions look. Right now its very utilitarian and not "gorgeous" - on the other hand, thats why I use this in the first place. Because it works and works very well. Capturing websites, images, audio notes, passing attachments I want to keep, collecting research, you name it ... its a great way to keep organized.

My biggest complaint with this app has always been simple text editing. While there is still work to be done, I have absolutely noticed subtle improvements. Evernote may be heading in the right direction, after all. Keep it up. Evernote needs to really focus on doing one thing well--capturing information, of all forms--and it will succeed.

App hangs after checking off connect with LinkedIn and Send Contact info. Please fix ASAP.

As soon as I open the app, it teases me with opening for a millisecond and then crushes my note-taking dreams by crashing. Thanks, Evernote...

I started using Evernote via recommendation about a year ago and Ive loved it since. Really convenient for storing and organizing notes.

I use Evernote for notes in class or study questions for tests! Its so useful and I like that Im able to also sync those notes from my computer to my phone, so I have them literally everywhere I go!

Evernote is worthless. I switched to Moxtra. No comparison. They still bill me even canceled.

Im loving the addition of handwritten notes. I think theres a lot more that can be developed here. Noteshelf has the most fluid writing in my opinion but Evernote is continuing to add features and make the app even better and I like that. One thing I would like to see is color options for different highlighters. Specifically a blue one, but I like having options for highlighting text. I use Evernote for everything. From business to personal, it lets me keep track of my thoughts, ideas, projects and presentations. Great work Evernote!

This really is one of the best note taking apps available, unless youre using a stylus, then Id recommend Penultimate, which integrates with Evernote very well.

"Select" or "select all" does not always stay on screen when trying to copy and paste. Sometimes it disappears. Very frustrating. This has been going on for years. Still no palm rejection for handwriting. Handwriting tool can use many improvements such as a zoom feature and "selection" feature to move stuff.

I love the icons, layout and functionality. Seriously, I am in awe of how much Evernote has changed since I last used it years back. A really great app!

Great app. I love the improvements with the outlook attachment.

This is still one of my favorite apps, but opening Evernote now pauses podcasts. Not appreciated, so I sadly have to withhold a star.
