Evernote - Notes Organizer App Reviews

Been using it since I got my iPad in 2012. I use it for everything I need a record of. I have only one wish and it is to be able to change the font size.

The developers clearly havent made syncing a priority, which is unfortunate since thats the biggest selling point. There are workarounds, but the hassle completely counteracts any added convenience with this pointless app. Until the developers care enough to fix the sync issues (unlikely) dont waste your time or money.

I was totally understanding that Evernote went to streamline their app to letting you only use the free version on two devices. I went with it. Still loved the whole experience and the app. But, I can never access it on those two devices anymore. Its ridiculous how complicated the user experience is now. Please bring your app to its former glory.

Please fix the crash on ios10!!

I use it for journaling, keeping all my recipes organized, clipping web pages and scanning documents to name few. I havent had any problems with it and use it daily.

Have used and enjoyed this app for years, but latest iPad update is a disaster. Attached jpg files either will not show or appear as black squares. Attached files from companion Scannable app also do not render or show as black squares. These problems continue disturbing trend of recent updates breaking more things than they add. Avoid this update or Evernote completely until they fix and improve software quality.

Saves me so much time and space!!! I love not having to file every little thing I get. Now I just snap it and I can look it up later! Even if I dont remember the name I can search individual words or numbers. Just awesome!

Major problems with syncing between desktop and iOS devices ever since iOS 10 came out. Runs so slowly, buggy in general. Keyboard wont always appear when its supposed to making it impossible to input data.

Evernote has allowed me to go completely paperless this year in college. Between snapping pictures of handouts with scan ability and having Evernote OCR them so I can easily search for those pesky handouts I normally use and using the Apple Pencil to take handwritten notes (also search indexed thanks to OCR) Evernote has finally allowed me to actually make use of my notes in a way I havent in the past. Formerly I would take notes primarily as a comprehension device and would seldom refer back to them. With Evernote really marvelous OCR I find myself simply searching for the term thats slipping my mind and am immediately presented with notes and homeworks Ive scanned on the topic. I would strongly recommend an Evernote workflow to anyone with an iPad Pro or even anyone taking notes on paper and interested in scanning them for search purposes later just as an alternative to keeping around stacks of disorganized paper notebooks.

I have not been in my Evernote in a bit but decided to look at one of my notes today. GONE all my note gone. Not in the trash all my notebooks gone. This just made Evernote unreliable.

Just a major ripoff....company should be shut down

Does exactly as promised . No app has kept me more organized with every aspect of my life.

Evernote is a great service for organizing, recording information, and time management. Their app is, dare I say, flawless. I consider it essential. I can take a photo of a piece of paper and the camera automatically finds and highlights the document before automatically taking a photo, which you can save as a PDF. You can also use a browser extension in Google Chrome to save URLs, or to export a webpage to Evernote. Also, the annotation function in this app has come into its own. I use it all the time. I use the reminders to help me keep on track with my work and I have found that the app syncs quickly on the phone (assuming optimal cell signal and that the phone is working well).

I cant print anything, export anything, back up anything or save as a PDF. If I want to preserve any data I have to manually copy it into another data base. Once I am done doing that....Evernote is being deleted!

I have used Evernote every day for my recipes for 2+ years. Suddenly it has started hanging up on my iPhone every time I search on my recipes! PLEASE FIX ASAP!

I use Evernote for mostly work, keeping track of all our projects, to do lists, etc. in which we can share with each other. I really like the user experience.

I cant listen to my old audio notes using my Evernote account on the iPhone 7! And, why do I need a premium account to contact the developer regarding this issue?!

Its pathetic to see companies operate on short-term profits. Everything is about maximizing profits. Well guess what, your app is good but not irreplaceable.

It was my app of the year in 2010. It still is. One suggestion please: replace the Reminders strip at the top with Search - which is the more familiar convention. Thanks

Evernote gets better with every upgrade. They have a brilliant team constantly adding new and highly useful features. Evernote is ideal for my needs.
